In past weeks it was rumored that Microsoft in going to have 3D touch technology which allows users to control device without touching the display. Microsoft is trying to embody a touch free control capabilities.

Microsoft Corporation is working to fill out the patent with the USPTO for smart zoom feature. The Patent filling is termed as changing between display device viewing modes. It is a feature in which is going to zoom in and out based on the distance from user’s eyes.

The feature is going to facilitate user so that they can easily see image in different zooming options. In this patent content zoom level is hanged which is displayed on smartphone screen and adjust the zoom level between user’s eyes and device. This will enable user to automatically adjust the zoom level depending on the distance from user eyes. Microsoft is stating that they want to feel the user as they are looking through virtual windows.
