Sony Xperia Z, ZL, ZR and Tablet Z will get Android 4.4.4 update

Sony is starting to update its number of device for Android 4.4.4 update; these devices are Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR and Xperia Tablet Z. This update will be rolled out soon in few days.

This update is expected to be an important enhancement such as:

• The devices will be updated to Android 4.4.4
• Enhancement in battery performance when using background applications
• It brings performance enhancement and email stability
• This update will bring improvements in MMs, Calendar, Wi-Fi and more
• This update will facilitate bug fixing

Along this the company has stated that some of its other smartphone will remain stick to the Jelly Bean. These devices are Xperia M, Xperia M Dual, Xperia SP and Xperia L. In these smartphones Xperia  M, M Dual and SP is running the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean while the Xperia L is running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, which means that modern wearable device are not supported by these devices.

All the models contain the single RAM and dual-core processors which will prevent the future updating. There are certain other unofficial ways which can install Kit Kat in Jelly Bean smartphone but voiding the warranty, this is not suggested to do this as there could be data loss.
