Sony-6.1-inch Xperia phablet spotted which is low end device

Sony wants to grab the market in Asia and in order to get more customers Sony is said to have worked on an affordable Xperia Phablet. This device is marked as Sony D22XX. It is first captured by Indonesian Postal site. It is an entry level device.

Following features are covered in this device

• The is screen size is 6.1 inch and is FWVGA
• The resolution will be of 480×854 pixels
• It is powered by Quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor
• It is featured with Adreno 305 graphics
• It is packed with 1GB of RAM
• It is operation Android 4.4.2 operating system
• Rear is of 5-megapixels and a VGA .3 MP front camera
• It will have internal storage of 4 GB
• The memory is expandable with microSD slot
• Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and GPS.
• Battery power not mentioned.
• It is single SIM device instead of dual SIM

This will be an affordable device which is design to grab Asian market like China, Indonesia and may be India. It is said that it is will not touch the western boundaries.

It is not known that when it is going to be launch but suggestion are that there will be no long wait for it. After the success of Sony Xperia Z2, Sony is streamlining the device flagship including this low device. In Asian market big screen size phablet shouldn’t have much problem.
