Samsung and Barnes & Noble teamed up for Nook tablet.
Published By: adneySamsung is trying to team up with Barnes & Noble so that they have co brand by creating a custom brand of Galaxy Tab 4 tablet. They are going to unveil their cooperation after 20th August. At that time we may see some Samsung. They have scheduled their announcement at the event which is going to be held in New York.
The primary purpose for this type of Nook tablet is to assist in reading, for this they will make effort to have fine-tuned TouchWIZ software so that it can be easily accessed and can read all the eBooks which are bought from Nook Store.
This is obvious that Amazon has dominance in electronic book space and this collaboration could be an answer to this dominance and surely the smartphone giant also has enormous to grab eBook readers. Let’s see what could be done by this collaboration.
On the other hand Samsung also has teamed up with Amazon for the launch of Kindle Store of Samsung Galaxy S5 users which also accessible to customers that are using Galaxy branded devices and it not feeling for shy doing so (my tail swings both ways).
The Nook tablet also has same software configurations as that of Galaxy Tab 4. It is having 7-inch display. The resolution will be of 1280×800. It is powered by quad-core Qualcomm processor with the clock speed of 1.2 GHz. RAM will be of 1.5 GB. Internal storage will be 8 GB with a microSD slot. It will have Bluetooth 4.0 and also has front and rear cameras.
Price plan not known yet but Galaxy Tab 4 has $179 at Amazon. It will be interesting to see teamed up price for Nook tablet. At high price than that it will be hard to gain much success.
