LG G smartwatch will feature cellular connectivity using SIM CARD

The LG G Watch has been one of those smart watches to be announced that were failed to make positive impact. The device appears to be made up of cheap-feeling plastic and its form factor could not be a basic reason, but why device is still some months away from its official market launch, so it is hoped that there might still be a chance for the G smartwatch to impress the world.

Well, it is suggested that the LG G Watch now containing a secret weapon, and in quick the device will manage to get people intentions.

LG’s newly coming wearable device running Google’s Android Wear will have a feature to support a SIM card for outgoing and incoming calls.

Korean media suggests, LG’s watch is called G Watch – which is going to unveiled in July – will support cellular connectivity by using universal subscriber identity module (USIM) which allows users for incoming and outgoing calls.

It is also suggested in report that Korean network operator LG U+ will be the first to debut the LG G Watch in South Korea.

Let see how accurate the report is, this feature is not only introduced only in LG’s smartwatch, as Samsung is rumored to be working on a new smartwatch device which will work independently, no need to have smartphone connectivity , unlike the Gear smartwatches that are currently working in the market.

Currently, Samsung is said to have negotiation with network operators in the US, South Korea and Europe about the newly coming smartwatch, which is expected to be launched between June and July. Samsung’s new smartwatch is using its home-grown Tizen operating system.

LG has confirmed that its smartwatch will be launched in the UK before July with a suggested retail price about £180.

The LG G Watch will contain a 1.65 inch IPS LCD display and it is having resolution measuring 280 x 280 pixels. It is having 512MB RAM with 4GB internal storage capacity.

More details will be revealed at the 7th annual Google I/O 2014 conference which is said to be taking place on 25 June.
