A universal design language announced by Google which is called Material Design for vide range of mobile devices. Google Android L-release is bring new aesthetic look to Android devices. The newly unveiled design language provides aesthetic guidelines to company for creating layout templates for to enhance the visual effects which will covers mobile, tablets, smartwatches, desktop applications and android TV which is newly announced in Google I/O.

Some key feature include system font – Roboto update with bold and aesthatic animation. Google will releases the changes to framework on google.com/design and wanted to power to Android developers as Apple is growing iOS developers.

Google has redesigned its apps using new language which includes Gmail and Calendar for web and as well android. The new innovation is named as Material and will add new animation feature in it.

On Google page following are the goals mentioned.

  • Creating a visual language defines the principle of best design and creativity with the use of science and technology.
  • They want to create a single system for all platform and devices to create and unified experience.

Motions are considered as main element in the design. It is depicts the refresh to depict to Google products and services to be more sophisticated to end user.

Material design will bring a depth to the element along with a smoother look. The Roboto system font is redefined and also best quick and aesthetic animations. Material design revolves around bold icons, the element of motion field, surface, light effects and movement. In fact Google want to provide the unified visual environment to all working element s as they performing in the same environment as relating to Apple’s iOS 8.

Now a taken a step forward to show its effectiveness in the design environment and in the competition as well.
