Apple’s integrated system will enable us to have central control over home devices. For example, when owner of house enters in house then there light should be on by automatically detecting its smartphone signals. Similar system is waiting for Apple’s patent filling that was published last year in November.

It may be similar to the platform that may be an extension of Apple’s MFi program for Apple authorized accessories, but the report suggested having different branding. The scheme will resembles to Apple’s existing “Made for iPhone” label that was given to headphones, speakers and other accessories, but having different brand and logo. Additional checks and assurances may also be provided by Apple to make certified products that are not vulnerable to hackers. It not confirmed yet that Apple is using what type of software and hardware for companies building smart home products for the iPhone.

It is said that Apple is may reveal its new smart home platform soon at its upcoming WWDC developer conference that may hold early in next month on June 2. It was earlier reported that Apple is aiming to have new hardware for the event in addition to providing details that may have several new features planned for iOS 8 and OS X 10.10. It was said that health and fitness platform is planned for iOS 8.

Technological specs information is not much included in report for new platform but Apple platform may contain an NFC chip in the next iPhone instead of the Bluetooth LE technology which is now used for CarPlay, iBeacon and other connected experiences.
