Android 4.4 KitKat Release For Samsung Galaxy Note 2

There is good news for Samsung Galaxy Not 2 owner that Samsung has just started to update for Andrioid 4.4 Kitkat. Update started from France yet, other countries should follow in coming days. Unlocked version of Sumsung Galaxy Note 2 has given the priority.

All the KitKat-specific features brought by the update for the Galaxy Note 2 that are also found on other Samsung devices, which include support for cloud printing, support for NFC tap-to-pay,  white icons in the status bar, album art full screen, and  putting camera shortcut on lock screen. The phone’s performance seems to have been improved, and a number of bug fixes and different kind of tweaks are expected. This updates will bring unique enhancements and fixes the carriers put on board their software. It is different than that were found on the Verizon version of the update.

How to check your Update:

If you want to check your update, go to Settings > About phone > Software update, You can also plug your Note 2 in Kies for a manual check.

This is the start of the update released. It can almost take several months to roll out. Typically roll outs are very unpredictable except for those that were on a carrier that provides timely updates for android updates.
