Redesigned Asus’s FonePad 7 launched for $137
Published By: adminAsus has debut a new version of its FonePad 7 tablet in mobile industry. The new version of the device has a model number FE170CG and it is a considerable lighter and a thinner version than its original models. The new version tagged to be priced at PHP 5,995 or about $137 is available in Philippines.
Notably, Asus globally launched its Fonepad 7 with Dual SIM (ME175CG) at MWC in Barcelona, also having an LTE variant.
The resolution of the new version reduces from WXGA to WSVGA and the internal memory is leased from 8 GB to 4 GB. The primary camera of the device also reduced to 2 MP from 5 megapixels. The rest of the hardware remains is same.
The new ASUS Â FonePad 7 FE170CG looks quite smooth and shiny. It has a LCD screen panel that comes with 7 inch display. The slate have dual-sim support and it is running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box.
The device is run by 1.2 GHz Intel Atom Z2520 dual core CPU and a PowrVR SGX544MP2 GPU and is coupled with 1 GB of RAM on board with 4 GB of storage, expandable to 64 GB extra by microSD slot and it contains a 2 MP rear camera which has F2.8 aperture. It has 3950 mAh of battery unit.
