BlackBerry Phablet coming soon:

BlackBerry is going to launch some innovative device which will be in between phone and tablet named as PHABLET, which will boost in the market, as depicted by the CEO of BlackBerry John Chen.

However, he said that the phablet market was still in a growth phase, suggesting a BlackBerry phablet could be an “early” participant.

If user look at our planning and if they look at where the market is going, there is certainly a good market for something between a phone and a tablet,” said Chen La Poste.

“If we’re going to do something else, we’ll probably go to phablet,” said Chen. “I think if you look at our strategy and if you look at where the market is going, there is certainly a good market for something between a phone and a tablet.”

He continued… “I think phablet could be early, the tablet is already late It’s not a bad thing, because you can bring new technologies But if I have the opportunity I go to phablet.

Chen did not write off the tablet market completely, saying that there is the possibility of success if the BlackBerry is able to inject a kind of new technology. However, given the choice, he will “go to phablet”.

Although the company focuses on the manufacture of new customer devices such as Z3 smartphone – and probably new phablet – he does not abandon its roots in the company or, Chen said.

Concerning new products, Chen said that BlackBerry may consider launching a new phablet in the future.
