The smiles hide the way she feels.
Her feelings to no one she reveals.
She pushes you away to see how much you care,
but when she turns around, you’re not there.
Why does she have to give up all that she knows
in order to be with the one she chose?
Why can’t it be simple, just this once?
Instead of not talking for months and months.
There’s no point in placing blame,
when the end result is still the same.
Why do you have to be so far away
when all she wanted was for you to stay?
